NCC is a 3 day a week drop-off co-op on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays with at home education days on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We have opportunities for parents to volunteer and require parent participation on occasion with lunch shifts and sometimes substitute teaching. More information on timing and scheduling throughout the day will be provided at the interest meeting.
Families are required to attend an interest meeting prior to applying. Please fill out the information on the Contact Us page to get more information.
Currently enrolled families are given priority for the next school year. Any remaining spots will be offered throughout the year to new families. We do not add to the waitlist more than one year out.
Since NCC is a homeschool co-op, parents bear the ultimate responsibility for the education of their child and the establishment of their homeschool program. Parents are responsible for ensuring the completion of assignments during co-op days and during Tuesdays and Thursdays. Parents should monitor student progress by checking student work, assessing needs, and supplementing and/or extending learning as needed. Additionally, parents are responsible for following homeschool regulations stipulated by the county or state, such as testing and/or evaluations. *The state of Florida requires that at least 51% of your homeschooling be done at home.
Tutors will partner with parents by preparing and teaching lessons in a classroom environment. Tutors will assign lessons for parents to teach their children at home on the remaining days.
Students should arrive to co-op ready to learn and participate. They are responsible for completing assigned lessons and homework on time in order to move forward with their class by the next co-op day.
This will be discussed in detail at our interest meeting.

NCC is currently closely monitoring the PEP school choice scholarship through the Home Education Instructional Program. Upon request, we will provide families with a receipt to attempt reimbursement for co-op tuition and fees. We make no guarantee that receipts from our program will be accepted by PEP, or that a family will be reimbursed through any school choice scholarship options. At any time, and without notice, NCC may choose to no longer participate in the school choice program. Enrolled families are responsible for payment to NCC by the designated dates regardless of scholarship status.
