Classes
Class Overview
We gather at Redeemer Church located off Roscoe Blvd on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM. The following classes provide a comprehensive, Christ-centered education:
Learning Bible verses, progressing into meaningful discussions, and building a strong Biblical foundation. The upper grades use Answers in Genesis Curriculum to deepen their understanding of faith.
Grammar, spelling, vocabulary, literature, and writing exercises aimed at effective communication and refining skills. Activities are tailored to different age groups.
Using Abeka (K-3) and Saxon Math (4-6) to foster a solid math foundation. Students test into appropriate levels to personalize their learning experience.
Creative, hands-on learning, using The Good and the Beautiful for grades 3-5 and Apologia Curriculum for grade 6, focusing on experiments and discovery.
Engaging lessons from Notgrass Curriculum, including U.S. history for grades 3-5 and Civics for grade 6, encouraging understanding through projects and discussions.
Encouraging physical health, teamwork, and social interaction.
Classes
Electives:
Elective courses vary each semester and include options such as kids coding classes, fun STEM activities, interactive music, and engaging art courses. These electives are available to all students on Fridays from 1-2 PM but may be offered only to specific grade levels depending on the semester. Students who do not participate in electives are to be picked up by 1 PM on Fridays.
More detailed timing and scheduling will be provided during our interest meetings, where we discuss activities and subject rotations to ensure a well-rounded experience for students. Parents also have opportunities to volunteer for lunch shifts or substitute teaching as needed.

“The Nest is more than a school—it’s a community guided by faith, where God has shown us new ways to help our children grow and learn.”
